Precautions are taken to protect patient health and safety. Acupuncture needles for treatment are sterile and used only once and then disposed to a medical waste facility. 70% isopropyl alcohol is used to clean and prepare skin before needles are inserted. Clinic areas are sanitized between patients. Care is taken to maintain a clean environment.
